Just a quick update to say I got the six month all clear :)
Thanks to everyone who posted messages of support, and to those who felt inspired to follow up on their own check-ups.
I'm still working on the 2012 km Gold Challenge to raise money for the Eve Appeal, and have a couple of hundred kilometres to go. The purchase of a bike and cycling the 24km round trip commute to work a few times each week is helping! I've also managed to pick up the running again, and am working towards the Amsterdam 8K at the end of October.
Since the last 6 months have seen a lot of life changes I will probably wrap this blog up and start a new one, with a more European feel... watch this space!

Leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again
To say that there have been a lot of changes since I last blogged here would be an extreme understatement. In short, I’ve got a new job, left the country and moved in with a boy :) More soon...!

All gone!
I'm pleased to report that the official letter from my doctor says that all the pre cancerous cells were removed in the loop excision procedure three weeks ago :-)
I have to go for a check up in 6 months and then every year for the next nine years. Sounds a long time but it's reassuring to know I'll be monitored so closely!
Still experiencing a few side effects from the procedure but things are definitely improving in that department!
