For the last year or so I’ve had a constant stream of Carrie Bradshaw-style commentary running through my head as I go about my daily business. There might be something I can take for that...or maybe it’s the blogger in me screaming to be let out. I write about astronomy, space and planets for a living, and recently saw my number one dream of seeing a shuttle launch realized, but there is also a lot of other stuff going on in my head. Or should that be feet... my main thing outside of work is running, or more often than not, being injured from running but still trying to train anyway. I ran my first marathon in October last year, and have a silly dream of running a marathon on every continent by the time I’m 50. One down, six to go! So there’ll be lots of posts about my training and how I’m feeling about that physically and mentally, with a few pieces of advice along the way, typically where I’ve learnt from making bad decisions. And that goes for life in general too! Fortunately I’m good at laughing at myself, so please don’t feel bad at laughing along with me as I share some hopefully entertaining musings on life, love and the universe. Or rather, rockets, running and relationships.
